The evolution of a long standing family tradition.

Now in the third generation, originally the business started when the grandfather, with the same name, a wealthy textile merchant from Manisa, a district in the outskirts of present-day Izmir (Smyrna), settled in Athens, Greece, in the Kesariani district (press for link) after having been evicted from his homeland during the Turkish occupation.  After a period of working as an accountant in the now defunct textile factories in Athens, the grandfather opened with his wife, Maria, his first store in the center of Athens and quickly expanded it into a factory, manufacturing civilian and military men's clothing with principal client the Founder of company FROUZAKIS (press for link), Mr. Polidoros Frouzakis.

Over the years the business entered an all-time low due to misinformed management and it was eventually given a breath of new life when the grandson, passionate and heart broken about his grandparents' legacy, studied and researched worldwide, modernizing everything with the training support of Madrid-based textile social cooperative customizando.org (press for link) and R&D facility FACTORIA INDUSTRIAL DE VICALVARO (press for link), eventually adapting the business to the needs of the 21st century global markets and setting the ground for a true heritage brand without frontiers.
